Pancake fundraiser in Camden benefits Women’s Recovery House project
CAMDEN — The First Congregational Church of Camden is hosting the Mid-Coast Recovery Coalition’s pancake breakfast, Saturday, November 10 from 8 to 10 a.m. The goal of this community event is to bring attention to the needs of families to have supportive homes in which to make progress in their recovery.
A promising location for a women’s recovery house in Camden is being considered and funds are needed to explore this site for this home, according to a news release.
MCRC is planning for this house to accommodate the children of women residents to keep families intact and to help the entire family.
Further information will be provided at the event including MCRC staff answering questions, giving out written materials and showing short video presentations.
Donations for breakfast is $10 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under.
Further donations by attendee will be accepted.
