SOUTH THOMASTON — Join current studio artists, Paul Heffernan, Susan Lewis Baines and Sandy Weisman, and past artists-in-residence Elynn Kroger, Ingrid Ellison, Olivia Joy St. Claire, and Sharon McCartney for Open Studios, Sunday, Nov. 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 26 Split Rock Cove.
Open Studios is being held in recognition of its decade-long support of the arts.
“Enjoy the lawns and gardens with views of spectacular Mussel Ridge Cove, meander in the studios, meet the artists, dabble in some creative DIY and simply enjoy a uniquely Maine visual art event for all ages,” said Split Rock Cove, in a news release.
Please call or email ahead which hour you would like to visit 26 Split Rock Cove.
“To keep us all safe we are requiring masks, and keeping visitors to only 12 per hour so that each studio can accommodate up to 3 people at a time,” said Split Rock.
26 Split Rock Cove is a small, privately owned artist community of studios and artist living space. The property is located on three acres overlooking Mussel Ridge Channel in South Thomaston.
