BELFAST — Belfast Poet Laureate Judy Kaber invites local poets to a join her for an afternoon open poetry reading on Monday, January 9, at 2 p.m., in the Abbott Room of the Belfast Free Library.

“Winter can be a time of struggle with cold weather and icy roads, but it can also be a time of joy when we gather together with friends and family or when we indulge ourselves in the beauty of the season,” said Belfast Free Library, in a news release.

Bring a poem of warmth and wonder (or any poem, really) to share with others. There will be time for each poet to read one poem.

This program, co-sponsored by the Belfast Free Library is free and open to all.
