The online HelpRoom is an anonymous space for people impacted by sexual violence to connect with one another virtually. Trained advocates help facilitate these discussions to make sure the HelpRoom is a safe and supportive place for everyone.
Several groups are being offered, all with different topics to choose from.
“Pick whichever topic feels best for you, then join us at the scheduled group time by visiting affiliate.rainn.org/helproom/sassmm and entering the chat,” said SASS, in a news release. “No sign up necessary! You can join us for one session, weekly, or for multiple groups.”
Visit sassmm.org/helproom to view the details of each HelpRoom group. Please note that Monday's groups will not be meeting on May 25 in recognition of Memorial Day. Please view the group's details on the SASS website for more information.
Is there a group topic you're interested in that is not currently offering? Let SASS know through its anonymous group recommendation form at sassmm.org/group-recommendation-form
