THOMASTON — The Oceanside eighth grade girls basketball team welcomed St. George for a home contest Wednesday, Dec. 15 in Thomaston. 

Oceanside held quarterly advantages of 9-4, 24-6 and 37-9 en route to a 52-15 victory. 

Scoring for Oceanside were A. Poland (25 points), L. Fales (four), V. Davis (two), K. Deabler (15), B. Hanson (six).

Scoring for St. George were Ward (nine points), Hufanagel (two) and Putansu (four).
