BELFAST — A Northport man has been indicted by a Waldo County Grand Jury on three counts related to an alleged sexual assault that took place at his home in December.

Paul Jasienowski, 63, was indicted Jan. 24 for gross sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact, and unlawful sexual touching as a result of the Dec. 6 incident.

According to court documents, the victim had been visiting Jasienowski when the alleged assault occurred. She reported the crime to a member of the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office after leaving the residence.

Detective Dale Brown, who took the report, was able to contact Jasienowski and he was arrested without incident.

Jasienowski is currently out on bail, with part of the conditions of his supervised release being that he is barred from having contact with his victim or members of her family. He is also subject to a curfew from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. and is prohibited from having contact with females under age 16.

A dispositional hearing for the case has been set for Feb. 12  in Waldo County Unified Court.
