Nature’s Tea Party at Merryspring

Event has passed

CAMDEN — Merryspring Nature Center will host a free program called “Nature’s Tea Party” on Friday, August 14, at 10 a.m.

A number of common backyard plants can be used to make tasty teas. This program will bring families around Merryspring and show how to identify plants that can be safely harvested and made into refreshing summer drinks. Guests will be able to sample a variety of different teas and take home cuttings of plants to create mixes of their own.

To keep groups small during pandemic conditions, Free Family Fridays have limited space available and guests MUST pre-register for this program. Families can sign up by contacting Merryspring at or 207-236-2239.

This program is outdoors. Families must wear face masks and adhere to safe social distancing guidelines.

In the event of rain this program will be canceled.

Guests should bring water bottles and be prepared to be outside for up to one hour.

Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round. The park is located at the end of Conway Road, just off of Route 1 in Camden behind Hannaford Shopping Plaza. For more information on this program, please contact or call 207-236-2239.
