ROCKLAND — On Sunday, September 29, at 1 p.m., learn about the area’s own marine “backyard” at the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, in Rockland.
This short presentation will offer a visual exploration of what makes the Gulf of Maine such a productive resource.
Slides also will introduce the variety of ecosystems and organisms in the marine backyard.
The Visitor Center will be open, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on this day as well.
