ROCKLAND — “As a community we must stand together, in unity,” according to organizers of a political event in Rockland, in a news release.
Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Mike Mullins and others will speak in Chapman Park, next to Walgreens, in Rockland.
“This multipartisan event welcomes participants of every party – Democrat, Republican, Green, Libertarian, and Unaffiliated or other – to stand together in unity to reflect on our shared commitment to the promise of our Civil Rights as enshrined in the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and the Emancipation Proclamation,” said the release.
The only rules for this event are: Peace, Tolerance, and Inclusion
Remarks to begin at 10:15 a.m., with a series of 3-4 speakers from varied backgrounds.
