PITTSFIELD — The Mount View wrestling program traveled Saturday, Dec. 28 to Pittsfield to compete in the Maine Central Institute Husky Winter Classic. 

The Mustangs collected sixth place with 62 points. 

Placing for Mount View were Zackary Ward (second), Mark Ward (first) and Michael Cole (third).

126 pounds: Morgan Fonger pinned by Kiah Wilson (Bucksport), pinned Ian Doughty (Medomak Valley) and pinned by Caleb Evans (Oxford Hills). 

138 pounds: Emma Fonger pinned Aiden Barbara (Cheverus), pinned by Riley Smith (Oxford Hills), defeated Seth Spear (Oceanside) and pinned by Owen Libby (Dirigo). 

145 pounds: Zackary Ward pinned Cameron Strout (Oxford Hills), pinned Brady Carter (Medomak Valley) and lost to Marshall Fowler (Cheverus). 

152 pounds: Mark Ward pinned Hayden Riley (Oxford Hills), pinned Timber Parlin (Erskine Academy) and pinned Mason Savary (Morse). 

182 pounds: Micahel Cole pinned Greyden Lindstedt (Cheverus), pinned by Casey Mills (Cony), pinned Colby Verrill-Hyde (Medomak Valley) and pinned Chase Nelson (Dirigo). 

195 pounds: Garrett Dunton pinned by Ty Knowlton (Morse).
