NOKOMIS — The Mount View wrestling team hit the road Saturday, Jan. 4 to compete in Nokomis at the Nokomis Warrior Clash. 

As a team, the Mustangs finished in 10th place with 37.50 points. 

Placing individually for the Mustangs were Zackary Ward (third) and Mark Ward (first). 

Below are complete individual results from the wrestling tournament involving Mount View competitors. 

126 pounds: Morgan Fonger pinned by Rachel Tuck (Skowhegan). 

138 pounds: Emma Fonger pinned by Riley Smith (Oxford Hills). 

145 pounds: Zackary Ward defeated Cameron Strout (Oxford Hills), pinned by Isaac Hainer (Mattanawcook Academy), pinned Curtis Errington (Dirigo) and pinned Adam Loewen (Mount Blue). 

152 pounds: Mark Ward pinned Hayden Riley (Oxford Hills), pinned Kobe Butters (Skowhegan) and won by technical pin against Nathan Schobel (Dexter). 

195 pounds: Garrett Dunton pinned by Aaron Sacks (Maine Central Institute).
