Mount View, Camden Hills soccer state championship games Saturday

AUGUSTA — The Maine Principals Association has announced the times for the soccer state championships being held Saturday, Nov. 9. 

Two local squads, the Mount View boys and Camden Hills girls, have advanced to the state championships. 

The Mustang boys are seeking the school’s first boys soccer state title and are in the state title game for the first time since 1980. 

The Windjammer girls, meanwhile, are seeking their fourth consecutive girls soccer crown, and will face Scarborough in a state final showdown for the third consecutive season. 

In Class A, top-seeded Camden Hills will battle third-seeded Scarborough for the crown Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at Hampden Academy. 

In Class C, third-seeded Mount View will challenge third-seeded Waynflete for the title Saturday at 3 p.m. at Falmouth High School.
