ROCKPORT — On Saturday, July 13, from 8:30 to 10 a.m., Cindy Kava will lead a Mindful Hike at Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport. This free program is open to the public.
In the spirit and tradition of walking meditation, Kava will lead the group slowly and silently. Participants will feel and experience the earth, the breeze, and the sky through the five senses. There will be time for walking, sitting, sharing, and enjoying the morning together.
The hike is open to everyone comfortable with walking on a moderate sloping dirt road.
Wear walking/hiking shoes and bring a water bottle.
Meet at 8:15 a.m. at the trailhead parking lot on Beech Hill Road, just a short distance from the intersection with South Street in Rockport.
There is no preregistration.
This hike is being offered as part of Rockland Shambhala’s summer meditation programs.
