AUGUSTA — A free resource fair for active duty service members, veterans and their families will be open to the public, Monday, June 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Augusta State Armory.
The Fair will bring together the many resources available in Maine to past, present or future military personnel from any Armed Services Branch, including information on the following: Job Openings, Job Training and Licensing, Housing, Education, Health Benefits, Survivor Outreach, Service Dogs, Case Management, Investments, Banking, Consumer Credit, Insurance, Financial Literacy, and more.
There will also be brief presentations by Commissioner Anne Head, Maine Department of Professional & Financial Regulation; Chaplain Col. Andrew Gibson, Maine Army National Guard; and Commissioner Randall Liberty, Maine Department of Corrections.
The fair will feature the Maine Deparment of Professionald and Financial Regulation:
