Midcoast School of Technology names February Students of the Month
The Midcoast School of Technology, in Rockland, has named its February Students of the Month. They are:
Kylie Farnham, Senior, Oceanside High School
Kylie is a motivated, attentive, hard-working student. She is kind, caring and patient and she never hesitates to help out a fellow student. ~ Ms. Moreau, R.N., Medical Sciences Instructor
Noah Morse, Senior, Oceanside High School
Noah is a third year student in the Auto Collision program. Over the last three years, Noah has grown into a confident young man who has displayed amazing leadership among his peers. He is always the first to help another student and can problem solve independently. He strives to learn new things, and challenges himself to learn beyond the curriculum. It has been amazing to watch Noah grow into a responsible and confident young man. ~ Ms. Wooster, Auto Collision Instructor
Brett Start, Junior, Oceanside High School
Brett is a second year Machine Shop student who has helped show the new students how to run the machines in the shop. He has really shown an aptitude for programming the CNC machines. Brett plans to go into the military and then on to college after his enlistment. He is our representative at Skills USA for the CNC Technician competition. ~ Mr. Barratt, Machine Shop Instructor
Alex Vokey, Senior, Camden Hills Regional High School
Alex is a first year Firefighting student and a junior member of the Rockport Fire Department. Alex is a hard worker and helps others in class. He is a two sport athlete at Camden Hills Regional High School. Alex is planning to further his education in forestry and land conservation. ~ Mr. Drinkwater, Firefighting Instructor
