JEFFERSON — June is Pride month and Midcoast Conservancy invites all to come be out and proud with LGBTQ+ friends and family at Hidden Valley Nature Center in Jefferson.

“On Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the group will enjoy a family-friendly hour-long guided hike through the woods past an awesome bog with carnivorous plants, watch beavers building their dam, and listen to the birds, before ending at The Barn where anyone who wants to stay can enjoy a BYO picnic,” said Midcoast Conservancy, in a news release.

This hike will be led by Air Rhodes (they/them), Midcoast Conservancy’s deputy director, who is a master naturalist and also genderqueer/trans.

All LGBTQ+ people, friends, family, and allies are welcome to join this hike and picnic.
