MET/Workspace project presentation scheduled for Feb. 16
ROCKPORT — Michael Mullins, who has proposed repurposing the Mary E. Taylor school building on Knowlton Street in Camden as a workspace, is scheduling an information session about the project on Feb. 16, beginning at 5:45 p.m.
The session will take place in the Geoffrey C. Park Room at the Rockport Opera House, and is open to the public. It will focus on the proposed ME//Camden Workspace.
“The information session will take place as part of a Civic Forum focusing on the MET building,” said Mullins. “My talk will include a presentation on the MET/Camden Workspace project, as well as a status update, followed by a panel discussion including open public discussion regarding the future of MET from the standpoint of Historic Preservation, as well as the makerspace initiative.”
All stakeholders of the MET Building, the Camden-Rockport school district, and the towns of Camden and Rockport are encouraged to attend, said Mullins.
