CAMDEN — Merryspring Nature Center will host its annual Bug Safari as part of its Free Family Fridays series on Friday, July 22 at 10 a.m.
During the Bug Safari, children and their families can learn about, find, and catch insects and other tiny creatures in Merryspring’s gardens. Darting dragonflies, buzzing bumblebees, fluttering butterflies, and busy beetles will all be on display during this program on a summer morning. A limited number of nets, bug cages, and guidebooks will be available for use.
This program is outdoors. Guests must wear weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, and be prepared to walk for one hour. In the event of rain, this program will be canceled.
Free Family Fridays will take place at Merryspring on select July and August Fridays at 10 am and are sponsored by Renys, A Maine Adventure.

Admission is free to all. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
