SKOWHEGAN — Melody M. Waldron, 58, died unexpectedly, Thursday, July 8, 2021, at her home.

Born in Rockland, June 10, 1963, she was the daughter of William R. Sr., and Deanna L. Brazier Waldron.

While growing up in Spruce Head and Thomaston, Melody attended local schools and Georges Valley High School in Thomaston. She attended Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts and Graceland University in Boston, where she earned a B.A. as a Clinical Licensed Psychologist.

Possessing an independent spirit, she was happiest helping people in her Rockland practice, Free to Be Me.

Family was most important to Melody and although she never had any children, she loved being an aunt, dotting on her many nieces and nephews. She loved nature, collecting rocks, watching and feeding birds, gardening and collecting coins.

Melody was a connoisseur of great food, loved a great steak on the grill and was partial to particularly fine linens.

Other than her parents, Melody was predeceased by a brother, Richard W. ‘Ricky’ Waldron, and a nephew, Paul Benner.

She is survived by four sisters, Lynn Waldron Archer and her husband Walter Wooster of Warren, Pamela J. Polk of Thomaston, Deborah J. Peaslee of New Sharon, Elizabeth Stambaugh and her husband Mark of Appleton; a brother, William R. Waldron, Jr.; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family members.
