Medomak, Oceanside basketball teams split Busline action 2-2

The Medomak and Oceanside seventh and eighth grade boys and girls basketball teams met Wednesday, Nov. 30 to kickoff Busline League action.

7th Girls: Medomak 41, Oceanside 20

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 13-8, 23-12 and 33-18. 

Scoring for Medomak were Olivia Campbell (seven points) Aubrey Court (six), Anna Reed (six), Kyli Jones (six), Kendall Wyman (four), Sienna Lee (four), Maya Catapano-Kangas (four), Ari Pierpont (two) and Maggie Martin (two). 

The lone scorer for Oceanside was Olivia Breen, who tallied 20 points. 

7th Boys: Medomak 61, Oceanside 53

Oceanside held a 15-7 advantage after the first quarter before Medomak held a 29-25 lead at the half. Following the third quarter, Medomak held a 51-43 advantage. 

Scoring for Oceanside were N. Walton (20 points), R. Robishaw (12), C. Galley (eight), E. Calrson (two), G. Robertson (two), E. Withee (three), Q. Conmeau (two) and M. Ohaha D (two). 

Scoring for Medomak were Jacoby McDaniel (nine points), Trent Wallace (two), Noah Lash (two), Liam Doughty (15), Silas Ripley (14), Judd Gamage (three), Carter Jackson (two), Grady Berry (eight) and Jaydiin Ruiz (four). 

8th Girls: Oceanside 34, Medomak 30

Oceanside maintained quarterly advantages of 9-8, 23-14 and 31-20. 

Scoring for Medomak were Paige Gerlack (14 points), Brooke McNelly (six), Grace Havener (two), Lexi Weaver (four) and Molly Emerson (four). 

Scoring for Oceanside were Grace Mackie (25 points), Abbie Stackpole (22) and M. Knowlton (three). 

8th Boys: Oceanside 61, Medomak 41

Oceanside maintained quarterly advantages of 19-3, 33-18 and 48-31. 

Scoring for Medomak were Noah Taggert (14 points), Kollin Donlin (12), Clark Elwell (seven), Brayden Nadeau (four), Landon Morrison (two) and Landon Starr (two). 

Scoring for Oceanside were Trevin Ripley (27 points), Alonzo Hoose (17), G. Geretz (nine), L. Weaver (five), M. Lowell (two) and K. Simms (one).
