Medomak girls soccer tops Troy Howard

WALDOBORO — The Medomak Riverhawks hosted Troy Howard in a middle school girls soccer contest Monday, Sept. 17 and were able to collect a 3-0 victory. 

The Riverhawks will now turn its attention to its road game against Searsport on Wednesday, Sept. 19. 

Medomak collected its first goal when Jordan Doughty assisted Acadia Dinsmore with 18:24 off the clock in the opening half. 

In the first half, “good defense” was played by Cindy Shelmerdine, Haley Puchalski and Addison McCormick, according to Medomak head coach Andrea Williamson. 

Nine minutes off the clock in the second half Eliza Luce tallied another goal for Medomak off a pass from Olivia Pelkey. 

Roughly 20 minutes later, Ana Underhihll scored Medomak’s third goal courtesy a pass from Doughty.
