Medomak, Camden-Rockport, Oceanside earn midweek Busline wins

Busline League middle school basketball action continued Wednesday, Dec. 7 across the Midcoast.

7th girls: Medomak 28, Camden-Rockport 6

Medomak maintained quarterly advantages of 8-2, 13-4 and 17-6. 

Scoring for Medomak were Anna Reed (12), Ari Pierpont (eight), Aubrey Court (two), Kyli Jones (two), Olivia Campbell (two) and Brianna Neal (two). 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Saylor Pinkham (two), Marina Landrith (two) and Molly O'Dwyer (two). 

8th girls: Camden-Rockport 34, Medomak 20

Medomak held a 7-4 lead after the first quarter before Camden-Rockport grabbed a 14-8 lead at the half. At the end of the third, Camden-Rockport held a 27-12 advantage. 

Scoring for Medomak were Paige Gerlack (two), Sidney Nicholls (five), Rachel Barbour (eight), Brooke McNelly (two) and Grace Havener (three). 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Brooklyn Rollins (two), Rita Heslan (seven), Olivia Smith (two), Gabby Martin (15), Ali Sylvecker (one) and Hannah Stowe (seven). 

8th boys: Oceanside 83, Troy Howard 42

Scoring for Oceanside were Trevin Ripley (20), Alonzo Hoose (20), Maddox Lowell (10), Landen Weaver (eight), Josh Bagnell (five), Grady Geretz (five), Cody Dodge (four), Levi Murphy (three), Aiden Geinther (three), Nick Tripp (two), Sebastian Olsen (two) and Keegan Simms (one). 

Scorers for Belfast were Brodi Balicki (17), Justin Massey (seven), Toni Fairbrother (six), Channing Greenlaw (six), Cole Garish (four) and Aiden Howard (two).

7th boys: Camden-Rockport 47, Great Salt Bay 23 

Camden-Rockport held quarterly advantages of 14-2, 25-13 and 44-15. 

Scoring for Great Salt Bay were Brady Day (12), Dylan Lomas (five), Owen Perez (four) and Max Blake (two). 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Cole Hedrich (14), Landon Reynolds (eight), Soren Johnson (seven), Gage Bryant (four), Hector Clayton (four), Ezra Cayouette (three), James Helmstetter (three), Ben Hoffman (two) and Emmett Milliken (two). 

8th girls: Oceanside 45, Troy Howard 35

Oceanside maintained quarterly advantages of 9-1, 25-10 and 37-22. 

Scoring for Oceanside were Charlotte Quinn (four), Grace Mackie (22), Abby Stackpole (nine), Charlotte Steevens (four) and Abby Reid (six). 

Scoring for Troy Howard were Jaedyn Brady (six), Teagan Harvey (four), Emma Tripp (18) and Kloe Luce (seven).
