DAMARISCOTTA — The third-seeded Medomak seventh grade boys basketball team hit the road Thursday, Jan. 23 for a Busline League semifinal contest against second-seeded Great Salt Bay in Damariscotta. 

Medomak maintained quarterly advantages of 13-4, 25-12 and 38-16 en route to a 42-29 victory. 

Scoring for Medomak were Kristian Schumann (12 points), Gabe Lash (11), Vishal Mellor (seven), Jack Martin (six), Liam Belyea (two), Liam Winchenbach (two) and Carrick Lally (two).

Scoring for Great Salt Bay were Tyson Ball (17 points), Jasper Faryna (six), Sean Cushing (four) and Roan Donaghy (two). 

With the win, Medomak advances to the championship game set for Saturday, Jan. 25 at Oceanside High School in Rockland at 11 a.m.
