Marcia Ann Harford, 70, was called to her heavenly home by her Lord and Savior on May 4, 2021 having passed peacefully at Woodlands Assisted Living and Memory Care Center in Brewer after a life filled with love and purpose.

Marcia was the third child born to William F. Harford and Frances D. (Thompson) Harford, in Belfast, on October 21, 1950.

Marcia was predeceased by her parents and stepmother, Albertina Keating Harford, brothers Kerry, Jerry and Jeffrey Harford, brothers-in-law, Thomas Brooks, and Ernie Hall, and sisters-in-law, Betty Keating, and Judy Keating.

While living in Rockville/Vernon, Connecticut, Marcia was an active member of the United Methodist Church and served as a certified Lay Minister. Her devotion to her faith led her to become a missionary in Africa spending two months at an unaccompanied children's center within a refugee camp near Goma. Marcia also invested time with the Appalachia Service Project, where she would travel to central Appalachia to repair and replace homes for low-income families.

Marcia is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Jennifer and husband John Holesha, and her grandchildren, who all had a special bond with their Gramma: Noah, Liam and Chloe.

She is also survived by siblings Phyllis Keating Brooks of Milford, Robert Keating of Bangor, Ronald Harford and wife Maxine of Belmont, William Harford and wife Pamela of Newport Beach, California, Edward Keating and wife Karen of Scarlets Mill, Pennsylvania, Joni Smith and husband Richard of Litchfield, Ethel Whitcomb and husband Rusty of Belfast, Stephen Harford and wife Jane of Swanville, and sister-in-law Janet Harford of Belton, Texas; and two paternal aunts, Pauline Black of Waldo and Doris Smith of Belfast.

She also has many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as friends.

Marcia will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
