HOPE — Corporal Michelle Merrifield of the K-9 Service and her dog Piper will give a talk and demonstration at the Hope Library on Tuesday, April 17 at 1 p.m.

Corporal Merrifield will speak about what steps a person should take when they are aware that they or someone they know is lost or missing. Gaining an understanding of what steps to take and how the Maine Warden Service and other agencies respond and assist in locating a missing person can resolve the event several hours or even days earlier than what can happen in an unorganized effort.

This talk is appropriate for all ages. Corporal Merrifield will speak about the Warden Service K-9 Response Team and her response with her dog, K-9 Piper.

The Hope Library is located at 441 Camden Rd. For more information visit www.hope.lib.me.us or call (207) 763-3553.
