Maine State Police Troop D blotter

    AUGUSTA — Maine State Police Troop D reported the following activity Oct. 12-24. Troop D is responsible for Maine's Midcoast, including Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Waldo, and Knox counties, the southern half of Kennebec County, and part of northern Cumberland County. The troop also patrols Interstate 295, from Brunswick to Gardiner. The troop's complement includes a lieutenant, three sergeants, 25 troopers, and a secretary. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Oct. 14

    Clifford Sousa, 45, of Gardiner, was arrested for possession of schedule W drugs and violating conditions of release on Water Street in Randolph. 

    Daniel Wheelock, 57, of West Gardiner, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Maine Ave in Farmingdale. 

    Oct. 17

    Bethany Hasson-Meunier, 31, of Oakland, was issued summonses for unlawful trafficking of schedule W drugs, unlawful possession of schedule W drugs, and violating conditions of release. 

    Oct. 18

    Mark Ross, 37, of Morrill, was arrested for operating after suspension on Route 7 in Jackson. 

    Oct. 19

    Ryan Hamilton, 45, of Burnham, was arrested for unlawful possession of schedule W drugs and operating without a license on Main Street in Unity. 

    Oct. 21

    Troopers Roddy and Verhille responded to the scene of a tractor-trailer rollover on Route 3 in China. During its roll, the tractor-trailer destroyed a telephone pole and wires, in addition to blocking the roadway. No one was injured during the crash. Route 3 was closed for approximately eight hours while Central Maine Power fixed the downed lines and the vehicle and its load were removed. The Department of Environmental Protection assisted at the scene, in addition to the China Fire Department. 

    Frank Drew, 54, of Knox, was issued a summons for operating after suspension in Unity. 

    Corey Palmer, 39, was arrested for operating after suspension and operating beyond license restriction in Freedom.

    Amy Sowa, 35, was issued a summons for failure to register a vehicle on Leonard Road in Thorndike. 

    Oct. 22

    Benjamin Stowe, 58, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 9 in Unity.

    Oct. 24

    Meagan Bean, 37, of Thorndike,  was issued a summons for permitting unlawful use and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on School Street in Thorndike. 

    Ryan Dingley, 36, was issued summonses for operating after suspension, violating conditions of release, and sale and use of drug paraphernalia on School Street in Thorndike. 

    Adam Jones, 35, of Unity, was issued a summons for operating with expired registration on School Street in Unity. 

    William Whitcomb, 39, of Monroe, was issued a summons for possession of schedule W drugs on Route 7 in Brooks. 

    Ross Liberty, 27, of Belfast, was arrested for possession of schedule W drugs on Route 7 in Brooks.
