Maine State Police Troop D blotter

AUGUSTA — Maine State Police Troop D reported the following activity Jan. 15-26. Troop D is responsible for Maine's Midcoast, including Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Waldo, and Knox counties, the southern half of Kennebec County and part of northern Cumberland County. The troop also patrols Interstate 295, from Brunswick to Gardiner. The troop's complement includes a lieutenant, three sergeants, 25 troopers and a secretary. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

Jan. 15

Damien Ward, 31, of Stockton Springs, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and violating conditions of release on Route 139 in Brooks. 

Jan. 16

Jeremiah Chauvin, 42, of Unity, was arrested on a warrant and issued a summons for violating conditions of release after allegedly testing positive for cocaine. 

Jan. 19

After initiating a traffic stop due to witnessed infractions, Trooper Harrington stopped a vehicle carrying three men headed northbound on I-95. Among the three men was Alonso Melgar, 23, of El Salvador, who was determined to have been in the United States illegally since 2016. Deputy Boudreau and K9 Vixen, of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office, assisted at the scene and a search of the vehicle recovered no contraband. Melgar was arrested for an immigration violation by Federal Deportation Officer Cola and taken into custody. 

Jan. 20

Teddy Green, 44, of Fairfield, was arrested for unlawful possession of cocaine. 

Coleman Dodd, 23, was issued a summons for knowingly altering his motor vehicle after an inspection after his truck was found with oversized tires and a recently issued inspection sticker. 

Damian Rongo, 20, of Fairlawn, New Jersey, was issued summonses for criminal speed on I-95 and possession of an imitation scheduled drug. 

Jan. 21

Paul Lawrence, 20, of Jackson, was arrested for operating beyond license restrictions, operating under the influence, and operating without a license. 

Troy Thomas, 36, of Vassalboro, was arrested for operating after revocation, possession of marijuana 8-16 oz, possession of Xanax, possession of Buprenorphin, and use of drug paraphernalia on Route 202 in Unity. 

Jan. 22

Shane Malliard, 27, was arrested for two warrants for failure to appear. 

Teran Booth, 23, was issued summonses for leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means on Bagley Hill Road in Troy. 

Jan. 24

Jose Olvencia, 60, of Somerville, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 17 in Windsor. 

Shylah Logidice, 34, was arrested for operating under the influence. 

Bobbi-Lynn Bishop, 56, was issued a summons for operating with an expired license. 

Jan. 25

Jared Jandreau, 35, of Bowdoin, was arrested on a warrant for twenty counts of sexual exploitation of a minor under 12 years of age, five counts of unlawful sexual contact, and one count of criminal solicitation. Jandreau was transported to Kennebec County Jail without incident.

Katelynn Dubois, 24, was issued a summons for theft stemming following an investigation that began Jan. 20 when it was reported that while Dubois was employed at a Litchfield business she allegedly stole more than $5,900 over the course of a six months period. 

Joanna M. Lydem, 48, of Troy, was arrested on four warrants after initially evading police by driving down a snow sled trail and through a creek before breaking through a gate and reentering the roadway. Lydem, who was later apprehended, is charged with operating after suspension and was under two sets of bail conditions at the time of the incident. The nature of the original four warrants is unclear.
