Magazine editor to share her photos, adventures in Belfast
BELFAST — Penobscot Shores’ free monthly Enrichment Series for adults 50-plus will begin its Summer/Fall 2019 series with “Wild Fibers,” Wednesday, June 12, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Penobscot Shores.
For the past 15 years, Wild Fibers Magazine editor and publisher, Linda Cortright, has traveled the world from Alaska to Afghanistan to explore all aspects of the natural fiber industry and specifically how it relates to
indigenous cultures and sustainable practices.
“I have interviewed extraordinary people, had my share of nomadic adventures, and spent a lot of time chasing sheep!” said Cortright, in a news release.
This program will feature the exquisite photographs and fascinating stories that have come from her travels.
With programs designed to educate, inspire and connect older adults, admission to all Penobscot Shores’ Enrichment Series programs is free, but registration is required. To sign up, contact Penobscot Shores
