Liv Kristin Robinson to lead discussion of ‘Photographing Belfast’s Waterfront’

    BELFAST — “Photographing Belfast’s Waterfront – Then and Now” is the topic for the Belfast Historical Society meeting Monday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m., in the Abbott Room at the Belfast Free Library.

    Liv Kristin Robinson, lead curator of the photography show, which was on exhibit at Waterfall Arts from June 18 to August 29, 2021, will lead the discussion. Co-curators, Kevin Johnson, photo archivist at the Penobscot Marine Museum, and Megan Pinette, curator at the Belfast Museum, will add commentary.

    The exhibit featured historic maritime history as well as photographs from over a dozen contemporary photographers. At the center of this program will be Belfast’s long and colorful history of its dynamic waterfront.

    This program will be recorded and made available for viewing on Belfast Community Television and BelfastMuseum.org.
