ROCKPORT — Lion Jerry Stone organized a “thank you” trip to the Rockport police and fire department first responders on Wednesday, July 1.  

Police Chief Randy Gagne, Fire Chief Jason Peasley, and other first responders gathered to receive the Lion members and the “thank you” brownies and cookies they brought. With Lion Jerry Stone were King Lion Peter Martin and Lions Bette Stone, Bunnie Dunavent, John McKay, and Michael Castle.
 
Lion Jerry Stone said the following: “Thank you, Chief Randy and Chief Jason and all first responders and all others you represent!  Thank you for your service to Rockport and beyond, especially during this unprecendented, crazy Covid-19 time. We value your courage and resiliency as well as your dedicated service here in the Midcoast community. We are so fortunate to have your good leadership.”
