Lincolnville boys basketball shoots past North Haven

LINCOLNVILLE — The top-seeded Lincolnville and eighth-seeded North Haven middle school boys basketball teams met on the hardwood in Lincolnville for a Busline League quarterfinal playoff contest Monday, Jan. 20. 

The host Lynx held quarterly advantages of 16-4, 26-9 and 36-13 en route to a 46-19 victory. 

Scoring for Lincolnville were Matt Mitchell (six points), Mickey Nowell (six), Sage Burgess (six), Thomas Leadbetter (six), Canyon Palise (four), Hayden Davis (four), RJ Bixby (four), Bryce Curtis (two), Caden Fowler (two), Cam Gautreau (two), Mason Clark (two) and Preston Rossiter (two). 

Scoring for North Haven were Waterman (nine point), Davis (four), Sandelin (four) and Davisson (two). First names were not available. 

With the win, Lincolnville advances to the semifinals against either fourth-seeded Searsport or fifth-seeded Drinkwater.
