LINCOLNVILLE — The Lincolnville boys basketball team improved its record to 3-0 on the season Friday, Dec. 6 with a victory over the visiting Appleton Wildcats.
With tenacious defense and solid passing, Lincolnville forged an early lead that Appleton could not overcome.
The Lynx held quarterly advantages of 14-8, 24-12 and 45-21 en route to a 49-29 win.
Scoring for Lincolnville were Hayden Davis (15 points), Preston Rossiter (12), Avery Luft (eight), Mason Clark (six), Sage Burgess (four), Bryce Curtis (two) and Cayden Fowler (two).
Scoring for Appleton were Franklin Coffey (10 points), Mason Lanphere (nine), Jacob Harrington (four), Ethan Butler (two), Gavin Campbell (two) and Manny Moskevey (two).
