Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Four arrests

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 364 calls for service between April 2 and April 9. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 4,560 calls for service.

Summonses

Gary A. Balducci Jr., 40, of Edgecomb was issued a summons April 4 for Operating Vehicle without License, on River Road, Newcastle, by Deputy David Bellows.

Jason B. Chamness, 41, of Boothbay was issued a summons April 6 for Failure to Register Vehicle, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Alonzo Connor.

Arrests

Diane P. Davis, 59, of Boothbay was arrested April 3 for Operating under the Influence and Refusing to Sign Summons, on Valley Road, Boothbay, by Deputy David Bellows, who was assisted by Sgt. Matthew Day.

Rowena M. Tegerero, 40, of Edgecomb was arrested April 5 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Chase Bosse.

Sasha R. St. Clair, 37, of Nobleboro was arrested April 7 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Center Street, Nobleboro, by Deputy Alonzo Connor.

Justin L. Richards, 29, of Jefferson was arrested April 7 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked and Violating Condition of Release, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

Accidents

On April 2, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Russell W. Hardin, 37, of Danvers, Massachusetts and Andrew H. Black, 55, of Tenants Harbor. Mr. Hardin was operating his 2011 Ford F-150 southbound when he swerved into the northbound lane, striking Mr. Black’s 2011 Kia Soul. Black attempted to swerve into the northbound breakdown lane to avoid a collision, however, was unable to. Deputy Ryan Chubbuck was the investigating officer.

On April 2, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Whitefield involving Michael M. Shea, 47, of Augusta. Mr. Shea was operating his 2004 Subaru Forester eastbound when he came upon several cars, which were stopped for a turning vehicle. Shea did not see this until the last minute and swerved to the right to avoid a crash. As a result, Shea’s vehicle left the roadway and rolled over. Sgt. Alan Shea was the investigating officer.

On April 3, an accident occurred on Gardiner Road in Whitefield involving Shannon D. Peaslee, 39, of Whitefield. Ms. Peaslee was operating her 2011 Toyota 4Runner southbound when she lost control on an icy curve. As a result, her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Sgt. Alan Shea was the investigating officer.

On April 3, an accident occurred on East Pond Road in Nobleboro involving Zachary D. Jordan, 28, of Bristol. Mr. Jordan was operating his 2001 Toyota Tundra northbound and due to icy road conditions, he lost control and went off the left side of the roadway, where he then went down an embankment. Deputy First Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

On April 3, an accident occurred on River Road in Newcastle involving Lucinda Bell, 73, of Brandon, Vermont. Ms. Bell was attempting to back her 2017 Ford Escape out of a legally parked position when the right rear passenger corner of her vehicle impacted a CMP pole. Deputy David Bellows was the investigating officer.

On April 5, an accident occurred on Patricktown Road in Somerville involving Ian T. Lary, 43, of Camden. Mr. Lary was operating his 1996 Ford Econoline westbound and when he came around the corner, he went into a skid. As a result, his vehicle crossed the center line and went off the roadway on the left. His vehicle then went over the embankment and struck a fence. Deputy Jonathan Colby was the investigating officer.

On April 5, an accident occurred on Town Landing Road in Bristol involving Nina L. Levesque, 53, of Princeton. Ms. Levesque was backing her 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor on the Town Landing Road when the front driver’s door and side mirror impacted a tree along the side of the road. Deputy David Bellows.

On April 6, an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Cameron M. Brann, 29, of Whitefield. Mr. Brann was operating his 2010 GMC 1500 southbound when he hit a pressure ridge, the result of ground frost, in the south travel lane. As a result, he lost control and crossed the center line. His vehicle then exited the roadway on the left and hit a standing tree, where it then came to final rest. Deputy Chase Bosse was the investigating officer.

On April 8, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Adam J. Anthony, 40, of Augusta. Mr. Anthony was operating his 2012 Kia Soul eastbound when he lost control on an icy curve. As a result, his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Sgt. Alan Shea was the investigating officer.

On April 8, an accident occurred on Foster Road in Bristol involving Trever R. Coffin, 19, of Nobleboro. Mr. Coffin was operating his 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee eastbound when he went off the road on the right hand side, where it came to final position in a ditch. Deputy Alonzo Connor was the investigating officer.

On April 8, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Lorraine G. Davis, 57, of Westport Island. Ms. Davis was operating her 2015 Toyota RAV4 southbound when she went off the road on the right hand side, where she hit a mailbox, before coming to final position on the right side of the road. Deputy Alonzo Connor was the investigating officer.

On April 8, an accident occurred on Alna Road in Alna involving Michael R. McAtee, 55, of Alna. Mr. McAtee was operating his 2004 Jeep Wrangler northbound when he went off the road on the right side and rolled over in a ditch. Deputy Alonzo Connor was the investigating officer.
