LIBERTY — Liberty Graphics T-shirts has announced the winner of their 22nd Annual art contest titled “Art and our Natural Environmen.”

This $1,000 scholarship art contest is open to all Maine high school seniors.

Lorelei Pryor, of Bath, took top honors this year with a Copic marker and color pencil rendition of a live lobster with a variety of seaweeds surrounding it. In the fall Lorelei will attend Messiah College in Pennsylvania to study biomedical sciences, with a minor in art.

Lorelei grew up here in Maine, captains her Morse High school Cross Country Track team, and as been making art for many years. She is the owner of Columbine Designs, selling her original screen prints on line.

Liberty Graphics wishes her much success, and hopes this $1,000 prize will help her continue her artistic pursuits.
