On Friday, January 1, from 6 - 8 p.m., Erika Bjorum will give a public talk entitled “Be Here Now" via Zoom. The program is part of the Friday Dharma Talk Series hosted by The Dancing Elephant. It is open to the community by donation. Registration is required to receive Zoom link.
“The pandemic has challenged our sense of steadiness and balance on global and personal levels,” said The Dancing Elephant, in a news release. “But, Buddhist teachings remind us that ‘being here now’ can transform confusion into wisdom. When we practice staying with ourselves in a courageous and open-hearted way, this moment (right now) is the perfect teacher.”
Join Bjorum for practice and an engaging conversation about finding the wakeful, fresh energy in the present moment.
