Merryspring Nature Center will host a late-winter nature walk for families on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m.
All ages are invited on this guided tour of Merryspring Nature Center to explore late winter ecology. Guests will watch for winter birds, look for animal tracks, identify leafless trees, and watch for signs of the coming spring and changing season.
This walk will also introduce walkers to Merryspring’s new trail blazing system and map, which have been redesigned over the past year by Merryspring volunteers.
This program is part of the Free Family Programs series at Merryspring and is free to all ages. Space is limited, and guests must preregister by contacting Merryspring at 207-236-2239 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
All guests must wear face masks, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes, and be prepared to walk for one hour.
Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round.
