CAMDEN — Irish band Lúnasa and special guest Ashley Davis will weave music, spoken word and more in their Irish Christmas show Saturday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m., at the Camden Opera House.
“Last year, Lúnasa: An Irish Christmas sold out the opera house,” said the Opera House, in a news release. “This year’s show will have a special energy, as it concludes the group’s annual holiday tour.”
The evening will feature tunes, holiday and more, performed on a variety of traditional instruments by band members Colin Farrell, Kevin Crawford, Cillian Vallely, Trevor Hutchinson and Ed Boyd. World music singer/songwriter Davis adds vocals and storytelling.
“We have such fond memories of being with you all last year,” said Davis, in the release. “We’re looking forward to having everybody in the community there celebrating the wonderful holiday season together!”
No-fee tickets are $30 in advance, $32 day-of-show, available at camdenoperahouse.com, by calling 236-3154 and at door an hour before show time.
This return engagement is sponsored by Camden Maine Stay Inn and 40 Paper.
