Knox County grand jury indictments: Drug trafficking, assault, tax evasion

    ROCKLAND  — The following indictments, against 12 defendants, were handed down by the Knox County grand jury July 2. An indictment does not imply guilt.

    Jamie Lamont Brown, 30, Maine State Prison, Warren, three counts of felony assault on an officer Aug. 13, 2018, Sept. 10, 2018, and Jan. 18. 2019.

    Casey D. Collins, 35, of Rockland, three counts of trafficking in drugs (cocaine) in Rockland April 29, May 1 and May 28, 2019; three counts of theft at Hannaford in Rockland on June 18, June 19, and June 20, 2019; two counts of a violation of a condition of release.

    Jamell Martinez-Lambey, 32, of Washington, domestic violence terrorizing and criminal mischief in Washington March 10, 2019.

    Joshua R. Nickerson, 39, of Dexter, two counts of aggravated trafficking in fentanyl in Rockport Jan. 5 and 6, 2019, which allegedly were a contributing factor in the death of Ryan Gamage.

    Bobby B. Parker, 30, of Friendship, trafficking in schedule W drugs (cocaine) in Cushing Oct. 1, 2018.

    Nikole K. Powell, 30, of Camden, four counts of unlawful possession of drugs (cocaine, methamphetamine, lorazepam and Xanax) in Rockland Feb. 16, 2019.

    Christopher A. Ray, 38, of Lincolnville, Class A gross sexual assault and Class B gross sexual assault, both in Owls Head Jan. 1, 2019.

    Michael R. Salmons, 31, of Quincy, Mass., felony theft at the Oceanside Deli in Rockland Oct. 31, 2018. The charge of theft was elevated to a felony because of prior convictions.

    Charles A. Stone, 47, of Tenants Harbor, operating after revocation, improper plates and violation of a condition of release, all occurring in Rockland March 21, 2019; theft of a cellphone and violation of a condition of release in Rockland March 3, 2019.

    Brittany M. Taylor, 37, of Rockland, six counts of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer at Hannaford in Rockland on June 10, June 11, June 12, 1June 14, June 19 and June 20, 2019; violation of a condition of release; two counts of trafficking in drugs, a schedule W drug, (cocaine in the form of a cocaine base) in Rockland April 29, 2019.

    Miranda Paige Wotton Thayer, 28, of Dexter, aggravated trafficking in a schedule W drug (fentanyl) in Rockport Jan. 6, 2019, which allegedly was a contributing factor in the death of Ryan Gamage.

    Steven W. Ward Jr., 43, five counts of failure to pay Maine State income tax in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017; one count of failure to make and file a Maine State income tax return in 2014.
