    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from Sept. 12-26.      

    Arthur M. Andrews, 37, of Searsmont, operating after habitual offender revocation, one prior, in Camden April 18, 2022, dismissed.

    Jordan C. Arteaga, 20, of Warren, operating under the influence (drugs or combination) in Rockland Aug. 11, 2021, dismissed.

    Jonathan L. Bacon 23, of South China, failure to register vehicle in Richmond June 29, 2022, $250 fine; attaching false plates in Richmond June 29, 2022, $250 fine, all suspended.

    Mark Benner, 54, of South Thomaston, failure to register vehicle in Thomaston June 30, 2022, $100 fine.

    Walter T. Brewer III, 40, of Waldoboro, fishing without a valid license in Rockland July 8, 2022, $100 fine.

    Jeremy Chalmers, 46, of Lincolnville, no identification and validation displayed while operating in Lincolnville July 22, 2022, $100 fine.

    Lee Ann Clark, 27, of Waterville, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Hope July 9, 2020, $350 fine.

    Brianna Lea Coffin, 23, of Nobleboro, failure to register vehicle in St. George June 8, 2022, unconditional discharge.

    Adrian A. Counce, 44, of Belfast, gross sexual assault in Union Jan. 27, 2022, $2,000 fine, four years in jail with all but nine months suspended, probation two years.

    Counce, a former counselor in Rockland, was arrested by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 3 and charged with gross sexual assault. According to the affidavit filed by the Sheriff’s Office, he sexually assaulted a woman who was also a client in Union Jan. 27.

    Counce was ordered by the state to undergo a mental health evaluation during his probation.

    Jordan C. Dennis, 37, of Lincolnville, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockland Oct. 9, 2021, restitution $25, unconditional discharge.

    Jami Dudley, 57, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked in Rockport Feb. 12, 2022, $250 fine.

    Richard A. Edwards, 70, of Augusta, operating a motor vehicle over a closed way in Warren on July 26, 2022, $500 fine.

    Jorden D. Fowler, 20, of Washington, attaching false plates in Rockport July 12, 2022, $100 fine.

    Kristin L. Freeman, 36, of Old Town, operating while license suspended or revoked and operating without license in Appleton Nov. 15, 2021, both dismissed.

    Michelle Goodridge, 40, of Warren, keeping dangerous dog in Warren Oct. 21, 2021, in Warren, $500 fine; keeping dangerous dog in Warren March 16, 2022, $500 fine.

    Jimmy L. Hall, 79, of Camden, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockland Oct. 16, 2021, dismissed.

    Cara M. Johnson, 36, of Hope, operating without safety equipment in Camden July 8, 2022, $100 fine.

    Kahdejah Johnson, 27, of Rockport, operating without safety equipment in Camden July 8, 2022, $100 fine.

    Jesse W. Knox, 32, of Appleton, violating condition of release in Appleton Dec. 9. 2021, five days in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked in Appleton Dec. 9, 2021, $500 fine, five days in jail; failure to give correct name, address or date of birth in Appleton Dec. 9, 2021, five days in jail.

    Lance Lee, 84, of Rockland, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident in Rockland July 7, 2022, in Rockland, $200 fine.

    Malcolm Libby, 33, of Camden, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockport, $500 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

    John J. Little, 50, of Middletown, N.J., fishing without a valid license in Camden, July 22, 2022, $100 fine.

    Noah G. Martin, 24, of Cushing, assault in Camden June 4, 2022, dismissed; criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures in Camden June 4, 2022, $250 fine; disorderly conduct, fighting in Camden June 4, 2022, dismissed.

    Jeffrey Mathews, 32, of Camden, disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures in Camden Dec. 23, 2020, dismissed.

    William McCaslin, 74, of South China, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Camden July 6, 2022, $300 fine, restitution $390.

    Eric Meklin, 58, of Cushing, out of door burning violation in Cushing June 7, 2022. $300 fine; burning without a permit in Cushing June 7, 2022, dismissed.

    Jeremy Ingersoll Meserve, 45, of Waldoboro, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockland April 24, 2022, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Brendan M. Miller, 48, of Clinton, Conn., permit operation of a watercraft by another in Washington July 12, 2022, $100 fine.

    Elizabeth Murdoch, 37, of Waldoboro, domestic violence assault and criminal use of disabling chemicals in Union May 14, 2022, disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures in Union May 14, 2022, $150 fine.

    Zane D. Nelson, 44, of Rockland, criminal trespass on July 19, 2022, in South Thomaston, $100 fine.

    Ralph A. Pease, 95, of Appleton, criminal trespass in Appleton July 18, 2022, dismissed.

    Jesse J. Seward, 39, of Rockland, violating condition of release in Rockland Dec. 21, 2021, 30 days in jail.

    Craig H. Sheard, 64, of Thomaston, domestic violence stalking and violating protection from abuse order in Thomaston Feb. 3, 2022, 364 days in jail all suspended, probation one year.

    Sheard was ordered by the court to not be within 1000 feet of the victim’s residence and not to appear at the victim’s place of employment or education. He will also complete a mental health evaluation including counseling and treatment.

    According to the court document, police said that the victim installed cameras on her property which recorded Sheard’s vehicle driving past the victim’s home daily and sometimes multiple times in a day.

    Police said that when they stopped Sheard when driving past the victim’s home, he had a pair of binoculars in his vehicle.

    The victim stated that she was afraid that Sheard was going to harm her or even kill her.

    Timothy S. Simmons, 58, of Waldoboro, aggravated operating after habitual offender revocation, three priors, in Warren Jan. 14, 2022, dismissed; operating under the influence (alcohol), one prior, in Warren Jan. 14, 2022, dismissed; violating condition of release in Warren Jan. 14, 2022, dismissed.

    Brian Taylor, 23, of Union, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon in Rockland Feb. 23, 2020, dismissed; criminal threatening in Rockland Feb. 23, 2020, 10 days in jail.

    Byron L. Thomas, 26, of Vinalhaven, failing to make oral or written accident report on Vinalhaven June 13, 2022, $150 fine; failing to notify of motor vehicle accident on Vinalhaven June 13, 2022, $150 fine, all suspended.

    Edward Vandyke III, 26, of Rockland, arson in Appleton Oct. 4, 2020, dismissed; violating condition of release, aggravated reckless conduct, reckless conduct, and criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon in Thomaston Oct. 30, 2021, all dismissed.

    Ian D. Vannah, 23, of Washington, probation violation on a prior conviction of burglary, two counts, in Washington Nov. 26, 2017, probation continued, no sentence imposed.

    Bradley A. Wellman, 50, of Hope, operating or permitting operation of an unregistered motorboat in Washington July 10, 2022, $100 fine.

    Chynna Paige Wentworth, 32, of Warren, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Warren Nov. 18, 2020, $350 fine, restitution $360.

    Bradley A. Wescott, 32, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked in Union Nov. 13, 2021, $250 fine; attaching false plates and possessing animal/bird in violation in Union Nov. 13, 2021, 48 hours in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked in Thomaston Sept. 13, 2021, $250 fine; attaching false plates in Thomaston Sept. 13, 2021, 48 hours in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked in Warren July 9, 2021, $250 fine; violating condition of release and attaching false plates in Warren July 9, 2021, 48 hours in jail.

    John Wolford, 31, of Augusta, misuse of E-9-1-1 system and violating condition of release, three counts, in Rockland March 26, 2022, seven days in jail.

    Matthew Wood, 38, of Union, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, assault, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, refusing to stop, and criminal trespass, all in Thomaston Dec. 10, 2021, all dismissed.
