Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from Oct. 14-25.

    Nicholas Appollonio, 72, of Rockport, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockland July 14, 2019, dismissed; driving to endanger in Rockland July 13, 2019, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

    Clinton Benner, 33, of Waldoboro, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon in Washington Aug. 18, 2019, 15 months in prison; criminal mischief in Washington Aug. 18, 2019, concurrent six month sentence.

    Benner had showed up at a residence and held a knife to a male juvenile and stated he was going to “cut him,” according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. The witness had tried to intervene in an argument that Benner was having with a female. That same witness also stated that he saw Benner attempt to cut the tires of another female’s vehicle prior to the altercation. Benner had left the area prior to law enforcement arrival.

    Attempts were made to make contact with Benner, and he refused.

    Knox County Sheriff deputies remained in the area for a few hours until they were confident that Benner had left.

    Sergeant Wilcox from Waldoboro Police Department assisted the deputies as well.

    Andrew S. Blackstone, 20, of Monmouth, operating under the influence (drugs or combination) in Rockland July 13, 2019, dismissed; driving to endanger in Rockland July 14, 2019, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

    Raymond Brann, 19, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Thomaston July 11, 2019, $400 fine.

    Sheldon Bryant, 69, of Thomaston, operating after habitual offender revocation, prior, in Rockland July 11, 2019, dismissed; failure to register vehicle in Rockland July 11, 2019, $150 fine; displaying false registration validation in Rockland July 11, 2019, $150 fine; operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, in Rockland July 11, 2019, $1000 fine, 30 days in jail, license suspended one year.

    Ann L. Cagnina, 31, of Camden, allowing dog to be at large in Camden Sept. 19, 2019, $50 fine.

    Henry Cygan, 75, of South Thomaston, violating protection from abuse order in Rockland Oct. 14, 2019, 48 hours in jail.

    Maurice Franklin, 27, of Union, disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures in Rockland July 14, 2019, $150 fine.

    Alexander Libby, 24, of Thomaston, violating condition of release in Thomaston Oct. 6, 2019, 24 hours in jail.

    Grace E. Lutat, 20, of Burton, Ohio, minor consuming liquor in Union July 27, 2019, $400 fine.

    Matthew Mychack, 33, of Ithaca, N.Y., fishing without valid license in Appleton Aug. 17, 2019, $100 fine.

    Chrystal Reimer, 36, of Portland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland Feb. 24, 2017, $400 fine, 364 days in jail all suspended, probation one year, restitution $100; unlawful possession of scheduled durg in Rockland Feb. 24, 2017, $400 fine, $400 suspended, 364 days in jail all suspended, probation one year.

    Corey M. Rytky, 39, of St. George, possessing unregistered deer in St. George May 7, 2019, $300 fine.

    Tyler R. Widdecomb, 30, of Union, failing to make oral or written accident report in Union Jan. 1, 2019, $350 fine.
