    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from July 8-15.

    Thomas E. Beauregard, 38, of Rockport, failure to register vehicle in Rockport May 31, 2019, $100 fine.

    William B. Beck, 54, of Washington, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockport May 28, 2019, $250 fine.

    Jason Benner, 44, of South Thomaston, animal trespass in South Thomaston April 5, 2019, $150 fine; allowing dog to be at large in South Thomaston April 5, 2019, $150 fine; keeping unlicensed dog in South Thomaston April 5, 2019, $150 fine.

    Isles R. Blackington, 20, of Vinalhaven, failing to stop for officer on Vinalhaven May 16, 2019, 48 hours in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, on Vinalhaven May 16, 2019, dismissed; operating while license suspended or revoked on Vinalhaven, three counts on March 2, 2019 (dismissed), March 8, 2019, and March 23, 2019, $250 fine for each offense.

    Julia Boles, 28, of Livermore Falls, violating condition of release in Rockland July 6, 2019, 48 hours in jail.

    Andrew S. Davis, 31, of Thomaston, criminal threatening in Thomaston Feb. 22, 2018, 60 days in jail; violating condition of release in Thomaston Feb. 22, 2018, dismissed; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force in Thomaston Dec. 5, 2017, 364 days in jail, probation one year; driving to endanger in Thomaston Dec. 5, 2017, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days; failing to make oral or written accident report and failing to stop, remain, provide information, both in Thomaston Dec. 5, 2017, 60 days in jail.

    Dorothy D. Foote, 60, of Edgecomb, violating condition of release in Camden Sept. 27, 2018, $1500 fine.

    Hannah R. Hewes, 21, of Wiscasset, unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Thomaston May 31, 2019, $400 fine, 364 days in jail, probation one year; driving to endanger in Thomaston May 31, 2019, $575 fine, 60 days in jail, license suspended 30 days; violating condition of release, motor vehicle speeding: 30 plus miles over the speed limit, failing to stop for an officer, all in Thomaston May 31, 2019, 60 days in jail.

    According to the affidavit filed in Knox County Unified Court by Thomaston police, Officers Noah Stevens and Elizabeth Hart were clearing the scene from a separate, unrelated incident on Main Street at approximately 11:15 p.m., when Hewes was traveling at a high rate of speed and nearly struck Stevens who was parked in the break down lane.

    Both officers followed the vehicle with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office attempting to stop the car, as well.

    Police said in the affidavit that Hewes was driving recklessly and was attempting to elude police who were chasing her at 80 mph. Police were not able to catch up to stop the vehicle, but got close enough to get the license plate number.

    Hewes eventually pulled over to the side of the road, just past Wadsworth Street in Thomaston.

    She told police that she had used heroin that morning and the drug was also in the vehicle in a pink bag, according to the affidavit.

    When police asked Hewes why she did not stop when the Knox County Sheriff’s deputy tried to pull her over, she stated that she was scared, tired from work and knew she was already on bail conditions that prevented her from possessing heroin.

    Sheldon Hopkins, 40, of Warren, trafficking in prison contraband in Warren May 22, 2018, 90 days in jail.

    Andrew F. Hudson, 49, of Lincolnville, failure to register vehicle in Rockland May 16, 2019, $150 fine; operating vehicle without license in Rockland, $150 fine.

    Marissa Libby, 22, of Tenants Harbor, operating while license suspended or revoked in Rockport April 7, 2019, $250 fine.

    Eric M. Meklin, 35, of Cushing, assault, reckless conduct and driving to endanger in Cushing Feb. 13, 2019, all dismissed; criminal mischief in Cushing Feb. 13, 2019, $150 fine; disorderly conduct, offensive words and gestures in Cushing Feb. 13, 2019, $150 fine.

    Judith N. McGuirk, 76, of Camden, failure to register vehicle in Camden May 23, 2019, dismissed.

    John F. Morton, 25, of Vinalhaven, domestic violence assault on Vinalhaven May 10, 2019, dismissed; criminal mischief on Vinalhaven May 10, 2019, dismissed; disorderly conduct, fighting on Vinalhaven May 10, 2019, $250 fine, restitution $100.

    Barrie Pribyl, 75, of Rockport, failure to register vehicle in Rockport May 9, 2019, $100 fine.

    Lochlin M. Recht, 18, of West Rockport, failure to stop, provide information after accident in Rockport May 21, 2019, $250 fine.

    Karen J. Rytky, 60, of Cushing, operating after registration suspended in Thomaston May 11, 2019, $150 fine.

    Shane Stockbridge, 25, of Hope, domestic violence criminal threatening in Warren Feb. 15, 2018, 30 months in jail with all but three months suspended, probation two years; domestic violence criminal threatening in Warren May 1, 2018 and July 9, 2018, both dismissed; criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and reckless conduct in Warren July 9, 2018, both dismissed; domestic violence assault in Warren Feb. 15, 2019, three months in jail; domestic violence assault and discharging a firearm or crossbow near a dwelling in Warren July 9, 2018, both dismissed; reckless conduct in Thomaston May 9, 2018, dismissed.

    Stockbridge was indicted by the Knox County grand jury on Jan. 22, 2019. The indictment further states that Stockbridge discharged a firearm within 100 yards of a residential dwelling.

    John L. Sullivan, 28, of Troy, failure to register vehicle in Camden May 1, 2019, $100 fine.
