The officer broke in the door and saw Wiley punching a woman in the ribs and abdomen. The victim's mother was trying to separate the two while she was holding a 1-year-old child in her arms, according to the affidavit.

Police were able to apprehend Wiley, handcuffed him, and transported him to jail.

The victim said that Wiley had also tried to strangle her in front of the three young children. There were marks on the victim’s neck and her voice was raspy, according to the affidavit.
