Knox County Criminal Docket, closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from Oct. 22-26.

    Thor A. Alley, 26, of Rockland, aggravated assault, five years in jail with all but nine months suspended, four years probation; unlawful sexual contact, dismissed.

    Alley was sentenced by Judge Barbara Raimondi Oct. 25 in Knox County Unified Court.

    The assault on the child included multiple bruises and knocking out a tooth.

    The investigation began after Rockland police were notified by a principal that a student came to school with extensive bruising, according to the affidavit filed in court by Detective Alex Gaylor.

    The assault occurred in Rockland Sept. 19.

    The child told police that Alley punched him in the head and groin area, bit him on the shoulder and knocked out a loose tooth.

    Nicolas C. Beaupre, 30, of Warren, assault in Rockland July 4, $300 fine, five days in jail.

    Karter Billingslea, 20, of Wilton, operating vehicle without license in Warren Aug. 18, $150 fine.

    Isles R. Blackington, 19, of Vinalhaven, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine; attaching false plates, dismissed; failure to register vehicle, $250 fine, all in Vinalhaven Aug. 16.

    Randall Blasius, 26, of Friendship, untagged lobster traps, Chapter 25 in Friendship Aug. 5, $750 fine.

    Alan E. Boyer, 43, of Union, operating vehicle without license or beyond conditions, $150 fine; failure to register vehicle, $150 fine in Camden Sept. 4.

    Kellie M. Brooks, 51, of Camden, failure to register vehicle in Camden Sept. 2, $150 fine.

    Stacy Brown, 42, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked in Owls Head Sept. 4, $250 fine.

    Wili Calel, 27, of Thomaston, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Thomaston June 17, $500 fine, eight days in jail, license suspended 150 days; operating vehicle without license, dismissed.

    Adam Capizzano, 33, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland Aug. 15, $400 fine, 180 days in jail with all but 48 hours suspended, probation one year.

    Amanda Carter, 22, of Union, operating while license suspended in Rockport Sept. 2, $250 fine.

    Lance Chipman, 31, of Rockland, violating condition of release in Rockland Oct. 4, 30 days in jail; terrorizing in Rockland July 22, 30 days in jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Rockland July 22, $400 fine, 180 days in jail with all but 30 days suspended, probation one year.

    Robert Cochran, 39, of Belmont, in Camden Sept. 18, failure to register vehicle, $100 fine.

    James D. Dickey, 58, of Vinalhaven, keeping unlicensed dog, three counts, $50 fine; keeping unlicensed dog, three counts, dismissed; violation of rabies prevention, three counts, Chapter 720, $50 fine; violation of rabies prevention, three counts, dismissed. All of the incidents occurred in Vinalhaven Oct. 26.

    Robert A. Garrison, 58, of Owls Head, theft by misapplication of property in Owls Head May 1, 2010, six years in prison all suspended, probation three years, restitution $39,000; theft by misapplication of property in Owls Head Dec. 1, 2009, six years in prison all suspended, probation three years, restitution $39,000.

    Garrison was convicted of taking money from two couples, one in Rockport and the other ins Owls Head. He used the money paid to him by both couples, to build their homes, for his own expenses.

    Leroy Gray Jr., 58, of Thomaston, probation violation for original conviction of unlawful possession case of scheduled drug in Thomaston May 28,  21 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued.

    Alan Grindle, 43, of Cushing, assault, dismissed; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, $500 fine. Both incidents occurred in Rockland Aug. 12.

    Devon J. Gross, 21, of Rockland, violating condition of release, $300 fine; operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500; failure to register vehicle, $200 fine. All incidents occurred in Rockland Aug. 4.

    Ari Hecht, 57, of Rockland, allowing dog to be at large in Rockland Aug. 27, $100 fine.

    Joseph L. Hills, 30, of Waldo, operating while license suspended or revoked in Rockport Sept. 18, $250 fine.

    Kelly J. Hinkley, 22, of Kingfield, attaching false plates in Rockland Aug. 21, $150 fine; failure to register vehicle, dismissed.

    Timothy R. Jerome, 20, of Waldoboro, failing to make oral or written accident report in Warren Aug. 21, $250 fine; failing to notify of motor vehicle accident in Warren Aug. 21, $250 fine.

    Jacob Johnson, 23, of Warren, operating while license suspended or revoked in Warren Aug. 16, $250 fine.

    Margaret E. Joseph, 32, of Rockland, operating while license suspended or revoked in Camden May 30, $250 fine; operating while license suspended or revoked and failure to give correct address or date of birth in Thomaston Aug. 25, $250 fine.

    Juvenile, of South Thomaston, operating ATV on public way in Owls Head Aug. 9, $100 fine.

    Juvenile, of Union, operating ATV on public way in Union Sept. 9, community service 30 hours; operating unregistered ATV on public way in Union Sept. 9, 30 hours community service.

    Jason E. Karam, 35, of Old Town, operating vehicle without license in Thomaston Sept. 1, $150 fine.

    Jasdeep K. Khaira, 35, of Pittsburgh, Pa., failing to make oral or written accident report in Warren Aug. 26, $350 fine.

    Earl W. Leathers, 32, of Waldoboro, operating while license suspended or revoked in Rockport Sept. 10, $500 fine.

    Michelle M. Leonard, 51, of Waldoboro, operating while license suspended or revoke in Rockport Aug. 18, $750 fine; failure to register vehicle in Rockport Aug. 18, fine $250 fine.

    Kellian S. Libby, 23, of Liberty, motor vehicle speeding more than 30 miles per hour over the limit in Washington Aug. 18, $750 fine.

    Lynn M. Libby, 54, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs in Rockland July 9, $400 fine, one year in prison; probation violation for original conviction of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, one year in prison, probation partially revoked, probation continued.

    Ryan R. Ludwig, 27, of Thomaston, disorderly conduct in Thomaston Sept. 14, $250 fine.

    Nathan Marston, 20, of Nobleboro, theft in Thomaston Aug. 4, $500 fine.

    Cote McClure, 25, of Hampden, operating while license suspended or revoked in Friendship June 20, $250 fine.

    Patrick McDonough, 33, of Hollis, trafficking in prison contraband in Warren Sept. 11, 2014, 25 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued.

    Paula Lea McMahon, 58, of Rockland, allowing dog to be at large, priors, in Rockland July 3, $100 fine; allowing dog to be at large, priors, in Rockland July 25, $100 fine.

    Matthew Meyer, 25, of Warren, furnishing liquor to a minor in Warren Sept. 1, $1000 fine, furnishing liquor to a minor, dismissed.

    Veronica Morrison, 32, of Waldoboro, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Thomaston Aug. 12, $500 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

    Cara Oleksyk, 33, of Bangor, operating while license suspended, $250 fine.

    Alfred Patterson, 37, of Camden, failure to register vehicle in Rockland July 23, $150 fine.

    Andrew H. Pratt, 41, of Rockland, failure to appear for disclosure of contempt hearing, dismissed.

    Todd Preston, 31, of Rockland, operating ATV on public way in Rockland Aug. 25, $100 fine.

    Amber T. Quinn, 43, of North Haven, operating under the influence (alcohol), one prior in North Haven June 28, $700 fine, 364 days in jail with all but 45 days suspended, probation one year, license suspended three years, registration suspended; violating condtion of rlease, three counts, 30 days in jail.

    Eric Rathburn, 36, of Nobleboro, operating while license suspended, $1,000 fine.

    Nancy M. Refregier, 58, of Union, operating under the influence in Cushing June 21, 2017, $500 fine, 10 days in jail, license suspended 150 days.

    Ian R. Roberston, 37, of Hope, domestic violence stalking, 364 days in jail with all but 20 days suspended, probation one year.

    His probation conditions include that he must complete a psychological exam and counseling along with substance abuse if directed. He also cannot possess any firearms except for those used during his military duty with the Maine Air National Guard.

    Robertson was sentenced Oct. 24 by Justice Joyce Wheeler in Knox County Unified Court. 

    According to the court document, Robertson was stalking the victim for three months, from March through May, in 2018.

    He placed a tracking device in the victim’s vehicle so he would have information about her whereabouts. There were two incidents where Robertson was present in places where the victim was, with no reasonable basis, according to the court document.

    Robertson will begin serving his sentence Nov. 6.

    Raul Ignacio Ros, 32, of Warren, assault in Warren Feb. 28, 2017, five months in jail.

    Kendall Ross, 33, of Rockland, operating vehicle without license in Rockland Aug. 21, $250 fine.

    Ryan Daniel Shumaker, 37, of Bangor, acquiring drugs by deception in Rockland June 23, 2017, $500 fine.

    Anthony J. Simaitis, 50, of Warren, domestic violence criminal threatening, dismissed; domestic violence criminal threatening, dismissed.

    Steven Stemp, 42, of Harpswell, operating under the influence (drugs or combination), $500 fine, license suspended for 150 days; operating while license suspended, $500 fine; operating vehicle without license, $150 fine. All incidents occurred in Thomaston Aug. 9. 

    Simon Tainter, 20, of Friendship, minor possessing liquor in Thomaston Sept. 1, $200 fine.

    Yvette M. Tarbox, 53, of Rockport, operating under the influence (alcohol),  $500 fine, 30 days in jail, license suspended 150 days; operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500 fine, $500 suspended; violating condition of release, seven days in jail. Incidents occurred Aug. 5, 2017, in Rockland; operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockland July 11, 2017, $500 fine, 30 days in jail, fine $500, 30 days in jail, license suspended 150 days.

    Nathaniel Theriault, 20, of Appleton, failing to notify of accident, dismissed; failing to make oral or written accident report in Appleton Sept. 11, $350 fine.

    Theron R. Thibodeau, 30, of Cushing, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockland June 28, $500 fine, restitution $19.33.

    Trevor Thompson, 21, of Friendship, operating vehicle without license in Friendship June 17, $100 fine.

    Michael Turner, 30, of Portland, assault on an officer in Warren May 16, 2015, 18 months in jail all suspended, probation three years.

    Tiffany Turner, 23, of Warren, furnishing liquor to a minor in Warren Sept. 1, $500 fine; furnishing liquour to a minor, dismissed.

    Emily Vitale, 20, of Appleton, probation violation for original conviction of illegal importation of drugs, no sentence imposed; unlawful possession of drug in Rockland Aug. 1, $400 fine.

    Beverly Warren, 43, of Vinalhaven, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Vinalhaven May 21, 150-day license suspension, $500 fine.

    Steven Wehnke, 25, of Rockland, probation violation for original conviction of prior sexual abuse of a minor in Rockland Aug. 15, 2017, probation continued, no sentence imposed.

    John T. Young, 30, of Cushing, criminal mischief in Cushing Aug. 25, $500 fine.
