ROCKPORT — Coastal Mountains Land Trust will host Kites & Ice Cream, Saturday, Sept. 14, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., at the Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport. This event was initially scheduled for Sept. 7. However, rain and wind are forecasted.
This fun event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
Free kites will be provided to registered children, along with a coupon for a complimentary ice cream cone (ice cream will also be for sale for all of you big kids). Please leave your pets at home for this child-packed day of fun.
An adult must accompany participating children at all times.

Beech Hill Preserve is a 295-acre conservation property in Rockport, managed for the complementary purposes of maintaining its scenic beauty, historic value, grassland bird habitat, and organic blueberry production.
Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected more than 12,000 acres, offering 45 miles of trails for public recreation.
