The Midcoast Babe Ruth Baseball League was back in action across the Midcoast on Thursday, June 27. 

Five games were on the schedule across the Midcoast, though only four were concluded as the game between the Damariscotta Lions and Newcastle was suspended in the sixth inning due to darkness.

The Damariscotta Lions hold an 11-9 lead with the contest resuming Wednesday, July 3 at 5:30 p.m. at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle.
