Jason "Jay" Davis Hall, obituary
HOPE — Jason "Jay" Davis Hall, 52, of Hope, Maine, died September 9, 2023, due to a cardiac event. Jay was born March 9, 1971, in Belfast, Maine, to Stephen and Ann (Davis) Hall.
Jay is survived by his wife, Brooke (Jarry) Hall; daughters, Natalie Ann Hall and Luciana Rose Hall; parents Steve & Ann; and sister, Carrie and her daughters Tallulah, Lawless, and Gigi.
He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Wilfred and Rose Hall and maternal grandparents, Hugh and Lisabeth Davis.
Jay graduated from Belfast Area High School and Norwich University. He was a police officer for the Camden PD for 16 years after which he and Brooke purchased Knowlton Moving & Storage in Warren, which they have owned and operated for the past 10 years. During his time with the Camden PD Jay also was a member of the Maine Army National Guard and in 2003, his unit, Co A 133rd Eng Bn, was mobilized to support the war in Iraq, for 1.5 years.
Jason was of member Belfast and Rockport Masonic Lodges, the Rockland Valley of Scottish Rite, the Anah Shrine Temple, and the Rockland Elks Club.
A celebration of Jay's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your favorite charity, as Jay always believed in the power of giving back.
Jay will be missed by all who knew him. His dedication, kindness, selflessness, and sense of humor will forever be remembered and cherished.
