ISLESBORO — Each year, the Maine Principals’ Association (MPA), recognizes stellar high school seniors.

“It is with great pride that Islesboro Central School (ICS) names Olivia Britton as this year’s MPA Principal’s Award recipient,” said ICS, in a news release.

This award is in recognition of academic excellence, school citizenship, and school leadership.

“Olivia displays all these qualities and more,” said the school.

Olivia, an accomplished equestrian, loves science, and is attending college in the fall.

Principals who recognize a senior for this distinct honor as well as the award recipient are then invited to participate in the MPA Principal’s Award LIVE Virtual Scholarship Drawing Event on Friday, May 14, at 1 p.m. Drawings will be held for ten $1,000 scholarships. (The student does not need to be present to be eligible for drawings.)

ICS will be given a plaque and Olivia will receive a lapel pin in recognition of her contribution to ICS.

Fly high, Olivia!
