CAMDEN — Camden Summer Sounds, Camden Opera House’s free outdoor concert series in August at the Camden Snow Bowl, 20 Barnestown Road, wraps up its season Sunday, Aug. 27, at 4 p.m., with The Hot Suppers.
“The Hot Suppers are widely enjoyed musicians of Waldo County who meld captivating original music with their favorite rock, blues, old country, and Americana tunes,” said Camden Opera House, in a news release. “Each member of the band lends strong lead and harmony vocals to the mix. The Band features Annadeene Fowler with Russ Lloyd and Pete David on guitars, Tom Fowler on mandolin and baritone sax, Jeff Densmore on percussion, Sean Ociepka holding the groove on bass at this performance, and John Pranio icing the cake with country fiddle and bluesy harmonica. The result is a sound that is dynamic, harmonic, rhythmic and electric.”
Attendees are invited to bring their own lawn seating and picnics for the hillside. Water will be available for a dollar to benefit the opera house’s Community Arts Fund. In addition to CAF, Camden Summer Sounds is supported by the Camden Snow Bowl and the Town of Camden.
Please note that all dogs must be on leash. In the event of wet weather, the concerts will be held at the downtown Camden Opera House. The rain location decision will be made at 5 p.m. the day before and posted on camdenoperahouse.com and in social media.
