Hope Library suspends programs, library remains open to borrow books

Sun, 03/15/2020 - 8:30pm
A note from the Hope Library Board of Directors: Jill Lang, Yvonne Gloede, Judith Jones, Amy Gertner and Elizabeth Tibbetts:

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this coronavirus.

There will be no programs at the Hope Library at least through the end of April. The library will remain open during town office hours, but our library volunteers will not be attending their usual weekday shifts. The Hope Library has long been a self-serve library and will continue to be so.

This is a new situation for all of us, with changes every day. The library board will communicate with the community again when programs or volunteer hours change or resume.

We thank you for your understanding and wish everyone safety and wellness.
