    ROCKLAND — On Saturday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., come to the annual open house at the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, 9 Water Street, Rockland.

    Bring home a mini seaweed press with seaweed to make a holiday card.

    Join the Arctic tern for a story about its long journey.

    Visit the art gallery filled with vibrant art of Heather Burgess and the late John Bisignano.

    Enjoy some treats while you shop at the Nature Store, which has nature-based gifts for the holidays, as well as copies of The Longest Journey.
